Netcare N1 City Hospital have Zero compassion and lazy, *********** nursing staff

Terrible, terrible hospital. Can't believe this is a private hospital and people actually PAY to be in there. Most of the staff are totally ***********//LAZY and have ZERO compassion for the patients (there is a small minority of staff who are absolutely amazing). The admin staff has no idea how to treat patients. My mother is elderly and has been very unwell for the last couple of years due to a rare blood disorder. As a result, she has been in and out of hospital and had to undergo a number of surgeries. Her last encounter with N1 City Hospital was absolutely shocking. She was meant to be admitted to the hospital by her surgeon - she was WEAK and could hardly stand. She was barely conscious she was so weak. There was an issue with her medical aid as they had recently changed their hospital network list and N1 City was no longer on the list. My mother, naturally, was distraught, frail and emotional and became upset as no one would help and the admin woman 'helping' her had zero understanding of how to deal with someone in that state. She didn't even try to console my mother and speak to her calmly. What did she do - she threatened to call security and sent my mother home - to die for all this woman knew! I'm sick of the medical personnel in this hospital. They only 'do' their jobs because they want a salary each month. N1 City should be ashamed of its conduct and its staff. This is not the first issue we've encountered. A short while back the nurses were too ***********, or just simply lazy, and they didn't sort out the Bair Hugger after her surgery - she sustained burns as a result. Needless to say, my mother has since upgraded her medical aid, rather unfortunate as she is a pensioner and struggles to pay her medical aid every month, but she will not be putting her foot back at N1 City Hospital. Particularly since, after speaking with a number of people who've had experiences with N1 City Hospital have said you run the risk of not leaving that hospital unless it's in a body bag! Shocking!
