Netcare N 1 city - be cautious

I would seriously advise people to fami****ize themselves about the fine print of medical aids before they join a medical scheme. With some Medical aids, like Medshield, you have no choice of hospitals other than Netcare hospitals. Read the reviews about the hospitals, before you make a decision to join a medical aid which only supports specific hospital groups. If you have a choice, read the reviews of a hospital before you choose a practitioner who only operates at that particular hospital. Nursing care in hospital is as important as the procedure or treatment itself. Ending up in a hospital with poor services, can be to your detriment. It is with great sadness that that I have to report that my mother is suffering from major after affects after being hospitalized at Netcare N1 city. Top management from the hospital is currently of no assistance and a mere apology has no affect to rectify the harm done. I can only advise to read all the reviews about Netcare hospitals and Netcare N1 city in particular, and rather opt for a hospital with better care and services.
