Netcare Milpark Incompetence
I wish that you could rate ZERO STARS. I visited Netcare Milpark Hospital Emergency on the 27th April 2019 I was feeling extremely ill and I was scared. I was there around 8pm. At the reception I was told I need to pay R1000 just for the consultant, RIDICULOUS. I gladly swiped my card because I needed assistance. I was then told I needed to pay another R900 before I could see the nurse who would take a urine test. The card machine was now out of order so I paid R900 cash. Finally I get to see the doctor, the time is 9.30pm. I was told I'd need to pay R1526.30 for the tests they would take. Why tests? I haven't been told. Ok. I pay the R1526.30. Test results come back. So in total I've paid +-R3500. My tests and consultation is done and I can leave. TODAY the 19thJUNE 2020 I receive and email from a debt collector of Netcare stating that I owe R206.86. I'm so confused as to why and for what?? It's been 1 year and 2 months later???? I email the debt collector and he replies that he doesn't know why I owe the money, he's just trying to collect. My frustration is, I was in your hospital for +-2 hours or more. I handed over my card to your staff to swipe for whatever the cost was and then you wait 1 year+ to tell me I owe you R206.86. This bull**** is UNACCEPTABLE AND SO UNPROFESSIONAL. My credit is at risk of being destroyed for fuvking incompetence. I'M SO FURIOUS!!!
