Netcare Linmed Hospital Private hospital finance is a joke

My wife was Admitted to Netcare Linmed Hospital Private hospital in Benoni and hat to undergo Emergancy operation. Staff was amazing and stay was handled with grace and stay wat under PNB so exess was waved

Afrer discharge the haracement started Of payment of co-payment eventhough system shows Medihelp has waved the copaiment every week a SMS will be sent to my Nr for payment reminder. I will then call and explain the hole situation again ( BTW min of 25-30min on hold) so 45-60 on the phone every week after the call with netcare i have to phone Medihelp and do exactlay the same

And every other call i get the sorry i cant speak to you (eventhough i am main member on medical aid) because of the POPI act my wife has to phone. So eventialy the R5000 co payment has been settled 28Jan2026

Gess whay today i get a nother SMS R217.39 is outstanding and has been handed over for collection. After another hold for 30min finaly get trough to a gentalman explain thw hole situatin of the last 3 monthes just to again get the POPI nonsens again. Thay have no problem with POPI when sending you a payment reminder but when you need to sort an account there is POPI ALL OF A SUDDEN.
