Netcare Lakeside

Netcare Lakeside has honestly disappointed, in fact netcare in the whole. Took my partner to casualty , the doctor just asked him what’s wrong , took his pressure and said we need to admit you for a 12 hour drip, how the hell? I usually use Glynwood hospital but unfortunately my partners medical did not cover at this facility so lakeside was our nearest next choice. The doctor then said , if you don’t want to be admitted I can prescribe medication and you should return in 3 days, that was it and sent us on our merry way. I’m sorry but my first experience from a netcare facility and it wasn’t pleasurable AT ALL , hate comparing BUT Life Glynwood goes out of their way to ensure they do everything before having you admitted , wether it be putting up a drip and taking bloods etc AND then making the call to admit. Anyway I thought I’d just bring this to this facilities attention, that it’s important to maybe exhaust all avenues before trying to drain a persons medical aid and admitting them.
