NETCARE KINGSWAY HOSPITAL - STAY FAR AWAY

I can't believe that they still in business. The worst experience that I ever seen. My mom was there for a skin graft after she had a serious fall at our residence. Instead of first getting behind her black outs they just perform a plastic surgery. When I asked what can be the cause I got told it is not the plastic surgeon duty to find out about the reason my mom got blackouts. I then got a call from ward 2 to advise me that my mom had a small accident. When I arrived I got told that she fell against the side table and cut her self again on her left upper arm. That was explained to me by hospital management and the ward sister. At that time they explained to me my mom's hearing aid batteries was flat because they did not know how to change a hearing aid battery. I was very much in doubt about their explanation. I then asked my mom what happened and she said to me that she rang the bell for over 30 Min because she wanted to to the bathroom. No one came and she then tried to get up out of the bed but couldn't as it had rails on both sides. So when a sister came to assist for her to get out of bed and assist her to stand up that is when my mom turned around and the sister with her red hair without knowledge cut my mother's upper arm with a scissor in the presence of the plastic surgeon Dr Pillay. So according to me the hospital had to carry the cost for the injury and theatre but did not. Instead they put the claim through to Bonitas Medical Aid without even worrying if it was the right thing to do. Now my doesn't have full functionality of her left arm as it pain's when she try to lift something and she can't put left arm behind her back. Now this is supposed to be a First-class Hospital as described in the local newspaper. Netcare Kingsway Hospital in Amanzimtoti is worse than a government facility. At least there they will not try and lie themselves out of a situation where they are wrong. So this is just the beginning of everything. As I will post more specific information about my mom's experience in Netcare Kingsway Hospital On all social media platforms with photographs and each of the bull****ters names in that hospital that took advantage of my 63 year old mom. I am in the process of getting legal advice about the matter and will direct this incident and the others of ward 4 to the HPCSA and other relevant authorities. I want answers from them. Because I will never trust Kingsway Hospital again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT PEOPLE MUST STAY FAR AWAY FROM NETCARE KINGSWAY HOSPITAL. YOU WILL NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU ARE NEXT.
