Netcare Jacaranda Hospital disappointment

I was admitted for emergency abdominal surgery at Netcare Jacaranda hospital on the 22nd June 2026. On admission I had to pay in thousands of rands on the spot even though I'm on Discovery medical aid. Now the hospital ows the money back, but getting it done seems impossible.

I've been enquiring about the hospital bill since July but still haven't received the money. This is really dissapointing for a private hospital, nevermind the shocking treatment received one night in their ICU where I was tied up even though I was completely awake and orientated. On my second admission there there was no power to run their theatres and I had to be transferred to another facility to have abdominal surgery and then tranferred back 2 hours after my abdomen was opened again.

I will not recommend this hospital!
