Netcare Greenacres Port Elizabeth

I would give zero stars if that was possible. Most disappointing and rude staff I ever encountered outside the Emergency department at Netcare Greenacres hospital in Port Elizabeth while doing a Covid screening with my 1 year old boy who was dehydrated and constantly vomiting at the time. Needless to say that we had to wait half an hour outside in the cold as one of the staff members were sitting around doing nothing and the other person was screening someone else . My son needed immediate help and I was told that they are taking other cases first and ETA is 3 hours as he is less severe. They did not inspect him to determine how serious his case was. Who qualified the Covid screening staff to make that assessment? . We waited outside without any update. I asked for a update and got a rude answer to wait some more. I took my son to Saint Georges Hospital where he got immediate attention and every staff member were friendly and helpful. I cannot believe Netcare Greenacres could possibly be so horrible. Greenacres emergency department could have cost my son his life was it not that I took him to another hospital.
