Netcare Ferncrest Hospital

Bad Bad Bad customer service. My wife was transferred was from Life Peglerae Hospital to Netcare Ferncrest Hospital as an emergency. Upon arrival, she was suppose to do CT scan. This was on Monday morning of the 29th of April. After Admission. I stayed there with her as she was in ICU surgical unit. I'm telling you that if you can see how that place is ran, you will never allow any of your family members to be admitted there. I asked on of the nurse on what time is my wife going for CT Scan, and she said they wait for them to call first, they don't just go. I was very surprised. I'm telling you that i stayed there till half 8 in the evening and nothing was done. I came back the following morning and still the scan was not done. Take in to consideration that through all this, my wife is not eating anything cause she suppose to go theater. I'm even feeling seek while typing this, that hospital is horror. After finally doing the CT scan on day 3, They can't find platelets anywhere around Gauteng. Then i asked myself, if you knew that you have a patient waiting to go to Theater, why not prepare everything on admission. I hurts so bad as type this.... Those nurses don't care about patients in there, The front desk is always empty, there are no security protocol, anyone just walks in. No one will even ask where you going. Just a free pass. In this day of age, Technology has revolved, but at Netcare, most patients undergo surgery for diagnostic, and all of them they come back with operations, with an Oxygen pipe to assist with breathing.
