Netcare - Do you Really care ?

You would think that after numerous complaints by many, the Netcare group would have made an effort for the people who need medical attention, after all is this not we are paying for with our Medical’s aid schemes.

Today I had to return to the Pathology office with my 4 year old son and my daughter both not well.

The doctor suspected on Monday that my son had the Influenza/Swine flu and need to make certain by having a mouth swab. We waited and received no response. My daughter now had the same flu type symptoms 3 days later and we returned to the doctor who called the Pathology Office to find out that they had made a mistake and tested for something other than the Influenza/Swine Virus. We returned today to re-swab.

My complaint is that such negligence is unacceptable whether for the young or old. As a customer who is paying for the service and expects professionalism in the medical field, must I/we accept poor judgments, when it comes to matters of medical care? I think not.

The Clinton Clinic not only has personnel who are unprofessional in their duty but the hospital itself is unkept and tardy. Not one hand sanitizer I tried had any sanitizer? That’s a simple task.

My point is this, does a human life have any value anymore?
