Netcare as good as a government hospital

I can only describe the quality to that of a government hospital , on the first day at maternity ward we were told that babies cannot be kept in the nursery unless absolutely necessary , I understood that but was told that should we need help we can ring the bell and be helped in that way upon discovery that the only thing they do is give you a bottle of milk and if you ask for help for a diaper change you are questioned as to whether you were taught or not and if you know they cannot help you tot have to do everything , the babies are however rushed out of the rooms very quickly in the mornings when doctors arrive I would assume so they can show that these babies were in the nursery all along. We paid R6000 upfront for a private room “assuming” that the standard is set for all netcare facilities - a private room gives you access to your spouse getting to stay with you and your families may visit at any time- this is from experience at the park lane hospital. This wasn’t the case , we paid R6000 for a roach infested room right at the end of a hallway and was treated like ********* because I had asked for help for a diaper change at 1am, suffice to say I will NEVER promote this inconsistent brand and this will definitely be the last of anything that I have to do with the net care brand - uncaring , unprofessional and unhelpful
