Netcare Akasia hospital's ***** & poor service

My brother was shot on duty on Tuesday night (25/09/2018), he was eventually taken to Netcare in Akasia, Pretoria yesterday afternoon where he was kept in the waiting area for more than 2 hours eventhough he fell under the red flag category of patients. When they finally attended to him they ran a scan, xray and blood tests, to check if it was safe for them to remove the bullet in his thigh. The results came back indicating it was safe to remove the bullet which is causing him excruciating pain so they booked him for theater... mysteriously just after midnight they shipped him off to George Mukhari hospital in Ga-Rankuwa, where they suddenly took a decision to cancel his theater appointment and resolved not to remove the bullet because "it has been in his body for longer than 30 hours & therefore it's okay for him to live the rest of his life with it in his body" so they discharged him...in what world is this okay? What happens if this causes him major problems in the long run? As we speak he cannot even walk because of the bullet in his thigh which will also prolong his healing making it impossible for him to work because he is a truck driver.
