NETCARE ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENTS BULLY TACTICS

Netcare Blaauwberg SHOCKING ACCOUNTS DEPARTMENT. My mom went in over a year ago for a routine procedure, there were a few complication. Dr's and Surgeons, nurses etc were OUTSTANDING ! The admissions at the hospital is a joke, and on one of the many admissions we had to endure with my now 83yr old mom, her surgery was scheduled for a certain time, and we had sat at admissions for over an hour, and she was going to be late for the theater prepping. I was told to wait downstairs to fill in her forms, wile she went up to the ward. I was assured, when I specifically asked, if this would in anyway implicate me in billing, that this would not be the case. Fast forward a few months and the bils are coming in thick and fast, as they put incorrect codes for the claims from medical aid, and were not paid out, and as my mother is a pensioner living on state pension, they are now going after me for R 67 000 odd. I spent MONTHS and a many many emails and phone calls trying to communicate with the accounts department, requested several meetings to go over the medical bills, and try and come to some resolution. NOBODY AT ALL would assist me with this.. not one person could take one hour to explain to me how they justify this bill, I was simply expected to pay it !!! The statements state ' services rendered" And nobody can assist me with simple explanation of what these 'services rendered' entail, to the value of R 67 000 or so.. I met with complete incompetency, sarcasm and refusal to assist. Rosina Alfandika, Londi Shabalala, to name a few.

DISGUSTING !!!!!!!!!!! BE WARNED ANYONE STEPPING FOOT IN THAT HOSPITAL THEY WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE HELL CHASING YOU FOR MONIES WITH NO EXPLANATION... EXCEPT OF COURSE TO SAY ' SERVICES RENDERED '!!!!
