Netcare 911 Ambulance Services do not care for human life

At 23:40 I phoned a friend, a qualified paramedice for help with a suicide case in my house. At 23:44 this person phoned me to confirm that he reported it to NETCARE 911 in Polokwane. 40 minutes later there was still no ambulance to assist. I phoned the friend again, who was in utter shock and disbelief. He then gave me the number of Netcare 911's regional manager, known to me as Kenneth. I phoned Kenneth and his response is the reason for my complaint. He said he doesn't have any ambulances available. He further said that he notified another service. He was rude and totally unsympathetic to the situation at hand. I was upset and asked him why didn't he let me know. His response was, I don't have your number. So, I asked him why he didn't just phone my friend to say this, all the while knowing that we had a possible life and death situation, as explained to him. HIS ONLY RESPONSE WAS TO HANG UP THE PHONE. TO DROP THE PHONE IN MY EAR. I called my friend again and within a matter of minutes the ER24 team and their regional manager, Brian was at our house, assisting the patient.

The reason for this review is basically to bring under the national managements of Netcare 911's attention that the service of their branch 8s pathetic and really sickening that a human life means nothing to them or their manager, Kenneth. It is not the 1st time that we (me personally) have had similar situations with Netcare 911.
