Netcare

Never before have I encountered such deplorable care given to my elderly mother at Netcare Christian Barnard. She has been in hospital almost 4days and the procedures promised have not materlialised, the medication prescribed incorrectly noted on her charts and the food fed to her disgusting and ice cold. There is abolutely NO communication with her, she even had to get out of bed and go find out if her Covid test was negative. No one bothered to tell her she was negative. Just because it is a pandemic doesn't mean you can abdicate your responsibilities to your other patients. The only thing I can surmise is that they are trying to fleece my mother for every penny she has without providing the care she deserves. If this is the quality of the private health care facilities God help us all! She would have probably received far better care at one of our public hospitals! SHAME ON YOU NETCARE!!!!
