Nedcare more concerned about their bottom line than their patient's

Over the last 3 months i've been in hospital thrice ones in Milnerton and twice in N1. And let me be honest if Dr Dreyer was not based in N1 i would mobe my business to Milnerton. N1 has become a carbon copy of a government hospital spend the night there and spend a night in Tygerberg you will see there is not much difference. The major difference is the costs. Its clear to see that N1 nedcare primary care is their bottom line and to hell with the patient's. And listen im not along this week almost everyone in my ward logged a complaint and the ward next to me. So this then is not my opinion. Go ask the head nurse in ward 10F how many complaints they racked up the service was pathetic. But let me explain my experience. It started with emergency i came in i could not breath and i was in pain the male nurse had a bit of a limp said i had the classic symptoms of anxiety!!!! I oes a few years ago had a kiddney store, this pain was so much worse than the kidney stone and this guy is telling my wife and i anxiety. So this was 11h00 the morning i had to sit in the waiting area for 2 hours in absolute pain on those hard cold metal chairs. Then they took me to the exam rooms 2 doctors and 5 hours later they still did not know what was wrong with me much less did they give me something for the pain. So they say they going to admit me and they leave me in the capable hands of this lung specialist. But im still in the waiting rooms, turns out its shift change and then visiting hours so i must sit there in the exam room for an additional 2 hours wrapped in pain cold and angry because its evening i got there the morning already. Eventually a nurse fells sorry for me and wheels me to what can only be explained as the worse ward in the hospital at night (day staff are a different breed) but im being wheeled there between 19h00 and 20h00. These guys dont off me anything to eat i asked one of the cleaners to make me tea and she brought me 2 old slicess of brown bread and jam i ate it because it i was hungry and totaly defeated. But the paun was still there i was given nothing for pain they were told nothing for pain for me. So nigjt 1 all these ladies gave me was Panado in an Ive. Speaking of ive i had 2 ives i. Because they could not finf me veins and they were weary of the ives positioning any geusses to where tje ives were put at the top of my for arms just bellow the joint so every time i bent either arm that also caused discomfort but still nothing revieled my chest pain. That nigjt i begged these nurses for pain medcine and they chased me away ask the guys that were in my room at one point they said what kind of a man am I. The guys in my room reported this to the head nurse she asked me but i just daid i heard nothing but trust me i heard and saw how they rolled their eyes. These were 2 fairly ealderly nurses i did not expect such inept desentfull treatment from them but they were bad. All the while i was still in pain and i have still not met with my doctor. Day 2 i get no breakfast that was not a surprise what did bother me was no doctor at this point i could only sleep sitting upright in a chair next too my bed. Late that afternoon my wife insistered that my doctor doctor Dreyer be called. They called him and he came 2 hours later i was been treated and that nigjt for the first time i got relief for they pain and guess what there was a left over meal for me foe supper. Fortunatly that night i slept like a baby so i missed late shift perthetic service. Wednessday morning guess who was at my bedside at 09h00 my night in shining armour dr dreyer. I pleaded with him ti discharge me which he did. Heres the joke only ones i completed my discharge paperwork there after they came to ask what do i want to eat for breakfast lunch and supper hahahaha you cant make this **** up. Listen go to Milnerton go see how a hospital operates And to the nurse that diagnosed me with anxiety. I had a form of lung infection the most painfull infection known
