N17 Hospital Springs

Netcare N17 Hospital Springs is a such a horriable place to recover from any sickness. First step when you admitted is the covid procedure. All well and understanding but the food was given to us very late, food was ice cold and tasted so old and seemed to me like left overs. When covid test was received negative you get a it to the sivelised rewards. Food was on time and much better. After moving from one ward to another and by the 5rh move I was finally settled in a room with others. There qas no respect for us as patients in the evening to rest. People talked like it was a party and could t kept quiet for those who wanted to sleep. Never ever in my intire hospital stay I was so unhappy and I was in such a bad mood that I actually took on the cleaners myself as no one wanted to do anything about it. They started to switch on the vacuum cleaner at 22h50 and I thought who on earth uses a vacuum cleaner that time in the evening. Didn't care about any silence and patients trying to sleep. After taking this matter in my own hands it was quiet and peaceful after 20 min. The next morning one of the nurses said to me they need to clean at night as during it is to busy with traffic. I said it is not my problem and definitely not appropriate time at almost 11H00 at night. Anyway this hospital will never see me again. My 4 days stay was like being in a jail. Being home was the best. This was a good Hospital but not anymore. Parkland clinic it the best in Springs.
