money taken from medical aid unknown to me

I took my child to Mulbarton Netcare hospital on the 31st of December. I was told when I got there that I needed to pay R1500 upfront to be seen by the doctor. The receptionist whose name is gift told me that R950 is for the hospital and R550 for the doctor. My daughter was then seen by the General practitioner, for not more than 5 minutes and I was told she has baby measles, and I was given a script for medication to go buy for my daughter. I paid the R1500 at the reception.

Today I get a statement from my medical aid saying they paid R365 to the same doctor, that saw my daughter.

I call the hospital and explain to them what happened, a new receptionist (lady), tells me the R550 is for the doctor, and the R950 is a deposit for any additional thing the doctor might use. She tells me she can't help me, I must call back on Monday.

1. No 1 told me of extra money I have to pay, I cannot pay for something I did not know I would be billed for.

2. Why did I pay the R950 because the doctor didn't use anything, on my child, no drug was given, no bloods were taken?

3. The hospital receptionists are not at all about customer/patient satisfaction. How can you say I must call on Monday?
