MILPARK aka the new Bara

Netcare Milpark Hospital. Worse service than Baragwanath public hospital. My father has been waiting for a “bed” since 9.30am this morning. It’s now 13.50 pm. He has a planned procedure in theatre tomorrow morning. A procedure that involves a Vascular surgeon and a Cardiologist. He was advised by the surgeon to “come early” to get a bed. This to me is Ridiculous and unheard of . We have never experienced this type of incompetence before at another private clinic. Why does the doctor not secure the bed for his patient ? Surely the doctors and hospital work together hand in hand. As a patient , 1) we have to call the medical aid for clearance for procedure and 2) now get our own bed too !! Must we come with pillows and a blanket too . Maybe a portable loo also !
