Medical negligence

In 2011 I went in for a standard lumpectomy in March. A week later my wound started rotting and I was sent back and forth by the attending surgeon for wound treatment etc. In July 2011 I accidently found out I tested positive for MRSA which was withheld from me via the hospital staff and the doctors. I was isolated and operated on 7 times with no success. I decided on a second opinion and different hospital and one operation this doctor removed all remaining and festering tissue. I consulted lawyers to no avail etc as this was absolute hospital and doctors hygiene negligence that has now cost me my womanhood as my breasts has been mutilated and the doc and hospital washed their hands of me. I made friends with a woman who had surgery the same day in march 2011 just before me, and low and behold, she was infected as well. After all the medical cost etc, i cant afford a reconstruction and lost all my dignity cause of the medical industry that are supposed to help and heal us, are the ones who have ripped my whole life from under me. For four years ive searched for help but no one is willing.

Its been 8 years and all Netcare did was wash their hands from any responsibility and the Surgeon, Dr Michalsky who infected so many people is now practicing at the Clinix Botshelong-Empilweni. How is he still allowed to practice and get away with scarring so many of us and almost costing us our lives and self respect. The sister from the Sunward park contacted me a while back and said there were no MRSA incidents reported but I had myself tested before operation nr 8 at Lynmed hospital, I was declared not to be a carrier and that I was in fact infected via surgery. The only reason I managed to find out that I had contracted MRSA was due to Michalsky Writing it in my file and me noticing it whilst he was discussing operation nr 5. I have been mutilated by a surgeon whom Netcare deemed necessary to protect for image purposes. Eight years down the line I suffer continuous pain and discomfort and look at the scars and am reminded on a daily basis what lengths huge corporations will go through to protect a brand no matter what the cost and to whomever's detriment. Thank you for ruining myself and many other lives due to your protection of a butcher.
