Lack of urgency in an emergency

On Sunday 21/02/16 I was in a bicycle accident. I had a very deep cut on my right calf. I went to Netcare in Waterfall Estate as that was the closest private hospital. The personnel at this casualty department have NO urgency to attend to an emergency at all. It took them almost an hour to sort out the admin and then they made me wait another 30 minutes in the cubicle with a closed door with no attendance. After an hour and a half have passed, I decided to leave and go to another hospital. When I left the cubicle ALL the personnel was having a chat in the hallway on my way out. I wrote a note to the admin staff (who was gone) to cancel my admission immediately. From there I went straight to the Mediclinic in Midstream. Since my arrival there, until I was admitted to theater to operate my leg was less than an hour!!!!! Less than an hour!!! That is proper understanding and urgency to attend to an emergency!! The staff immediately assessed the situation and classified it as such and continued with precision with the correct procedures in order to assist me. The poor lady whose toe was broken by her horse is probably still waiting at Netcare to be assisted. Shame on you!
