Kuils River Netcare - World Class care

On 9 June 2022 I lost my life halfway through a simple operation.

From there on I discovered what true hospital care meant.

At Kuils River Netcare Hospital my life was saved by the expert doctors.

After that I spent 4 days in a coma on a ventilator. During this my bottom lip burst open - a minor complaint - but significant enough, even though I was not aware of it, that a sister made a plan and got hold of something to make it better.

Every single night and day in that ICU I was exposed to so much love and caring...

From Sister Jeanne Marie, to Sister Maria, Sister Claudia, Sister Visser, Sister Anathi (world specialist in insertion of drips!!), Nurse Chris and many, many others. Thank you so much for the huge role you all played in my recovery! I will never forget all of you.

Also I would like to mention Dr Plekker... amazing doctor!!!

I have left the hospital... but I will always carry a lot of love for you guys for what you did for me. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
