Justice must be served with immediate effect

Mulbarton hospital is a nightmare where the superiors promotes their employees theft and careless about what happens to the belongings of their patients. The unit manager had the audacity to tell me all valueables at my own risk and she cares less whether or not I call the police to attend to the matter. To my surprise after they turned the police away they only called them back two days later during the day when the incident occurred at night. What was the significant thereof if she was not trying to patronize me ? Was the police not supposed to take their statements ?

I take very high dosage of medication which literally makes me see sleep like am dead. On the night of the 13 August one of my Ward mates was going to be discharged the next day so we talked until about 0:00am when a sister came to give her another drip medication, then we slept after. I had a black out earlier in the day so my curtains were left open when we slept but somehow mid night one of my Ward mates so a sister walk out as if she slcame to check on us and my curtains were now closed. So the mate that was to be discharged in the morning asked why my curtains were closed and they both decided to come check if am breathing and there I was sleeping peacefuy. I only discovered my expensive phone worth R 21000.00 excluding R350.00 insurance had been ******. The same phone e that I bought in June 2018.

I am furious and disappointed as to why would this kind of a thing happen in a private hospital. I've been in hospital for a month now and I never had a problem of theft before. I leave my fruits and drinks in the fridge and even forget I put them there and no one takes them. I used to leave my phone and take a shower while I charge them.

I spoke to the matron who was very very very rude and said I signed that all valuables used at my own risk. I asked if she promoted theft she couldn't answer. She said her staff never stole before. I told her I was going to involve the police because am not paying a phone I don't have when the person who took it knew I was under strong medication which same I have proof. She watched the video footage and said no one ever came in the Ward between certain time periods.

The hospital security took a statement. I later called the police when the night staff resumed duty they had excuses why I could not give them a statement and lay charges. They are fully aware that nurses go on off days for a day or two so what will be the point if the police come today or two tomorrow because the shift of the day of the incident were all here yesterday the 14 August. It's clear they don't want me to open a case because I even emphasized that you don't even know when am going to be discharged.

In my opinion they are hiding something and they don't want the culprit to be caught and face the music. All I want is to be compensated by mulbarton hospital and get a brand new phone. I refuse to pay a phone I do not have. If I was not under heavy medication I would have heard the person take the phone because i put them under my pillow. Thus the rudeness of the matron and the manager in charge of the night staff makes believe this needs to be dealt with higher authority

I await your kind response as I was looking forward to speaking to the police yesterday 14 August and he was turned away and told they are waiting for someone they will call him when the person is done I don't know if they called him because I slept after they gave me medication

The prayer I seek in this submission is for mulbarton hospital to compensate me with the same phone that their staff member whom they are protecting so much stole from me without any shame, compassion that am sick and under severe pain and heavy medication but still decided to ***** from me. I want a new phone. I cannot not have phone when the entire staff is protecting one person as if they are promoting theft. Even some of the night staff have a suspect in their minds but they don't want to speak up. So the entire hospital is protecting one person as a result promoting theft

I trust you find the above in order

Kind regards Miss Lebogang ********** 831 **********
