INCOMPETENCE OF DR HD UYS( PN ***)

I am a Lecturer with DHET. I sustained an injury on campus and was referred to St Annes Hospital in Pietermaritzburg. I was then referred to Physiotherapy which was excruciating. However My direct complaint is against Dr HD Uys who was rude, arrogant, asked me whether I know that it is people like me being paid by his tax money to sit at home. He further stated that he will not treat me or have anything to do with the case. His words were 'get your head right and get to work' He further complained about why the IOD Dr is issuing so many sick notes and why another specilist is referring the case to him. He asked his secretary to draw up a list of other doctors for me to go to as he wants nothing to do wit it.The injury to my ankle was attended to by a very capable Dr R Frank who was in absolute horror at the damage of the foot and had to use a prosthesis and remove all the broken bones among other procedures he performed the inclusion of an innternal brace. I expl.Dr . Iexplained that his attitude is uncalled for and I will go to another doctor as the pain was unbearable. I have reports of the extensive work and damage to the ankle and surrounds. The Hospital manager was informed of his behavior however her vague answer diminishes the serious nature of a person that takes the hippcratic oath.
