Incompetence

my daughter fell and she couldn't put pressure on her leg. so i took her to the casualty ward on Sunday the doctor on duty checks her ankle and has X-rays done on the ankle. he does not how ever bother to examine the foot to check where the source of pain originates from as my daughter clearly indicated that she does not have pain on the ankle. i get home and it is explained by an under grad Bio-kinetics student that the injury is to the 5th metatarsal bone due to the possibility of a tear in the tendons or a possible stress fracture to the 5th metatarsals. She was in awe that my daughter had been "examined by a qualified Doctor" NOT ONLY WAS THE FOOT WAS EXAMINED AT THE WRONG PLACE, A USELESS X-RAY WAS TAKEN. Wow, i guess times have moved on and you have to go to the hospital knowing what condition you are suffering from, not for the "qualified doctors" to investigate and diagnose your issues! The Visit to Nectcare Clinton casualty unit was a waste of my time and a ******* of my medical aid funds.
