INCOMPETANCE OF HOSIPTAL STAFF AND DOCTOR

My Dad has just arrived back from a month long trip to India. A day after returning my dad fell very ill, with extremely high fever, vomiting and diarrhea and he was hallucinating due to the extreme fever. My dad was rushed to Kingsway that morning, as we live in Amanzimtoti and that was the closets private hospital, as my dad is on a medical aid. He was seen by the casualty doctor who was made aware of his situation.He was admitted and taken up to the ward where the staff were asked to do blood tests immediately as my dad was at risk of having malaria(a life threatening disease).The nurses told my mum that he will be only seen by a doctor the following morning (Monday) as there is no doctor to see him. The nursing staff were of no help at all, my dad had to clean up after he had gotten sick in the bathroom because no nurse was there to help him.His blood results were only given to us at 20:00 that night so it could be shown to a family doctor as the doctor at Kingsway was doing absolutely nothing to help my dad. He was discharged from Kingsway and we had taken him to Shifa Hospital were competent doctors that take their Hippocratic oath seriously saw to him and he is recovering.
