IN CASE OF EMERGENCY

<p>Good day. My dad fell ill yesterday and at about 7:30pm we had to phone netcare 911 for an ambulance. The operator was very helpful but due to my panic state I phoned her repeatedly and not very patiently or civilly, but she took it in her stride all the while informing me where on route the ambulance was.</p> <p> </p> <p>About 20 minutes later the ambulance came with 2 paramedics who were extremely professional and patient - especially with myself and my mom who were not very rational then. My parents stay on the 1st floor and there is no lift and my dad is a very big man. These guys stabilised him and then called for back up to help get him downstairs. I still have no idea how they did it. These paramedics were very professional and unbelievably awesome. I cannot commend them enough.</p> <p> </p> <p>This was in Amanzimtoti and they took my dad to Kingsway Hospital. A really big shout out to Malcome, Simone, Zain and Vernon. You guys were amazing.</p> <p> </p>
