I was basically discharged without medication

Dear Sirs

I was admitted at your rosebank hospital on 20 December 2017 until yesterday. Upon being discharge I was advised to go to the Drs room for my prescription. This is despite the fact that I could not walk properly. Because i had my sister with she went to collect the prescription from the Dr which I gladly paid for. Yesterday I received a call from the pharmacist just after 18:30 stating that I was supposed to collect medication from your pharmacy. I exaplained to him that i was told by the nurse that I need to collect the script from the Drs room, which I asked my sister to do. I also told him that o actually expected the medication to be given to me by the discharging nurse considering my position.

I decided that I'll get someone to collect the medicine for me on Sunday. However I'm in pain as we speak and I do not want to delay any process to heal because of the mistake made by the hospital.

I need the medication delivered to me today. I'm in pain. My family is not around and I have no one to collect the medication for me.

Because this was your negligence please have the medication delivered today. I'm in unbearable pain as we speak because I was basically discharged without medication.

I don't think you would let a patient go thru this pain.

Please let me know if you will have my meds delivered or not.

Please note this is not a complaint against the Dr.
