Hospital staff poor service, incompetence
My 6 month old baby was admitted into Netcare Waterfall Hospital on Monday at 1:00pm to say the staff were unfriendly,*********** & unknowledgeable would be an understatement.First the day staff tell me they do not provide boiling water nor the option of cleaning bottles for feeding. The evening staff were the worst!!!A lady by the name of Thelma screams in the ward at all hours of the morning, sleeps behind the desk with her hoody on,forgets to check temperatures of babies and cannot count to even begin. We get another set of ladies(it takes 2 of them to turn on a nebulizer)who incorrectly set the nebulizer strength (level 2 as opposed to 5-6) thus making the prescription of nebulizing every 3 hours pointless as we saw no positive response. There were no curtainsbetween patients therefore my baby and I struggled to get to sleep for every 3 hours before waking up to administer incorrect nebulizing treatment. the staff not able to administer the medication but certain my child took it all in (even though she was completely messed all [URL Removed] WATERFALL LOOKS PRETTY BUT THE CARE AND STAFF ARE USELESS!MY BABY IS STILL SICK-OBVIOUSLY AS SHE NEVER TOOK IN THE MEDS.WELL DONE TO NETCARE!
