Hospital Review

I would like to express my gratitude to the Nursing Staff in Section 3 and Specialist Surgeon at Milpark Hospital for the outstanding care given to me during my 6 day stay at the hospital.

Starting from the time i arrived at the Casualty i was ushered straight to an available casualty admin officer who attended to me immediately, he asked for my ID and within 5 mins i was collected by a nurse from triage who examined my vitals immediately. I dont have their names but i truelly appreciate your urgency and empathy you showed me. A Nurse by the name of Stanley at Casualty was then assigned to my case and didnt take his eyes off me. He ran with my case from the moment i walked into casualty, handled all the admin and finalized my admission. Stanley joked with me and kept my spirits up. He made sure i was comfortable at all times and kept updating me on the next step of each process and got the job exceptionally well done. His bedside manner was outstanding and i believe this is his natural calling; to comfort, treat and care for all those in need of medical treatment. Please make sure he sees this message.

If ever i fall ill again i would not hesitate to find out if i could go back to section 3 because the patience, friendliness and prompt attention i received from each and every nurse in the section was fantastic and so refreshing. Both day shift and night shift my sisters looked after me to the point where i forgot i was even in the hospital. I took the time to name each sister below and i would appreciate if they get the chance to read this. Your patience with me has meant I am now feeling stronger, and I am feeling much more hopeful about my recovery.

I would like to take the time to name each and every nurse from Section 3 both day and night shift:

Sisters Lungile, Grace, Connie and Thobekile from Night Shift.

Sisters Samantha, Tinyiko, Gugu and Maureen.

Lastly Dr Badicel; the Specialist Surgeon who fixed me from head to toe and treated my case with the utmost proffessionalism and unwavering support. I felt like a high profile patient. You made me feel like i was in the best possible hands and i believe i definitely was. I appreciate you and the passion you have for the work you do i am forever grateful for having you as my Dr.

To Isabel from the kitchen you took such good care of me and you made sure the correct diet was followed and that i always had iced water and whether i needed anything more from the kitchen. Thank you my dear you are an asset to the Staff of Milpark hospital.

Lastly i would just like to thank the Hospital Manager who handled the nitty gritties of my admission with urgency and 100% proffesionalism (you know what you did for me behind the scenes)

I pray that you all stay blessed and that our creator shines his light over each and every one of you and protects you in everything you do..
