Healthcare disaster

I had dislocated my knee cap and when i was rushed to Rosebank Netcare, I was greeted by a group of apathetic staff who's first question on arrival was what is my medical aid number. After giving my medical aid details i was made to sit in a wheel chair for an hour before any attention was afforded to me. When they finally attended to me (mind you the emergency room was empty) they told me they had run out of morphine and had to scurry in search of an alternative. When they eventually found the morphine it was administered to me while I sat in the wheelchair and had not been placed on a bed. When the hospital realized that they did not have a Orthopedic Surgeon to operate, I was told I have to go to Milpark hospital. I was then told that I had to make my own way to the next hospital after they had administered morphine as they did not have ambulances that day. Apparently the ambulances do not work on weekends. <br> When I arrived with my own means to Milpark, I was told that I can not be put on a bed until the staff received codes from the doctor. I sat in reception for a further hour and a half before I was put on a bed once the codes were found.<br> Netcare is a disaster of a hospital.
