Family visits

Good day I am currently a patient at netcare rehabilitation center in Auckland park. I am really happy with the physio I'm getting here and treatment from some of the nurses. I however have a problem with the recent decisions made because of the Corona virus,I understand they have to protect us but they also need to remember that we have families too. This is what they have decided: only 1hour to visit and only one visitor, no more home visits and our families are not allowed to come weekends so we can sit with them in the hospital garden. Here is our concern: what good would chasing our families and refusing us to go visit if the staff goes home and come back here to be screened by the door and some of those staff members use public transport, how sure are we that they won't bring in the virus? . They decided to no listen to us, some of us have young kids who are not even allowed to come inside the hospital, and yes we can choose to go home for ever but we do want to receive help but this whole issue affects us emotionally too, how do then choose between your wellbeing and being a parent? .we were willing to accept changes that were done during the week all because we thought it's okay we will see our families weekends, come back and be screened just like everyone else inside this hospital. We can not go on without seeing our loved ones, we are already shuttered by being here and now they are taking out something that kept us alive, the thought of seeing your family.
