Excellent Maternity ward staff
Good Afternoon
My name is Catherine Sibisi, and I was admitted at the Netcare N17 Maternity ward on Friday 23rd August to the 27th August 2019. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the oh so friendly Sr. Marinda. As the only patient in the maternity ward on that day, she gave me he undivided attention, assisted by another wonderful lady, Sr. Marie. They made me feel so comfortable, making me forget that I had just been admitted into hospital. Their ambiance and loving spirit can pick anyone up, no matter what the patient is feeling, thats how much of a pleasure it was being taken care of by them. They were so gentle with me. Even though I had told Sr. Marinda how terrified of needles I am, she made inserting the drip in my arm feel so painless. The smiles on heir faces are not ****, my husband was also so happy about their aura and assured me that I was surely in good hands. I was so fortunate to have been in the warm hands of these to remarkable women.
Then there is Sr. Monica and Sr. Bernie. Just like the above women I mentioned, these are 2 other phenomenal nurses who pride themselves in their work. They too were just as gentle and kind towards me, throwing a joke there and there, making sure you're comfortable.I had the chance of being taken car by them for the whole time I was admitted, till 2 days before I got discharged. I have nothing but respect and admiration for all the nursing staff at the Maternity ward at N17. Their hearts are in the right place, especially working with newborn babies and new mothers.Thank you too, to all the other staff who came Monday. I do not remember all their names , but a great thank you to Zanele and the tall nurse with dark brown short hair. You're amazing. You guys were so busy on Monday, but never made me feel neglected. I know I speak on behalf of many other mothers who've been there.
The same nurses who were there when my daughter was born last year September, were also there when I was admitted, and gave the same energy as they did last year.
Thank you thank you.
