\Emergency"Room"""

On arrival at the emergency room at around 18:25 we were helped very quickly by the receptionist. It's after we opened a file when the problem started. After about 40 minutes of waiting I enquired when the doctor will see us as my wife was in pain. The very unfriendly nursed explained to us they are very busy and there was another patient to be seen before us. After another 20 minutes we were called to wait in a cubical. My wife enquired again how long we have to wait as my 1 year old son was past his bed time and hungry. She very bluntly said she only came on shift at 19:15 and we have to just wait. After another 20 minutes and still no doctor to see us we walked out. My wife was still in pain but would rather wait to go see a doctor the next morning at another practice.<br> I understand hospital emergency rooms get busy. But waiting 80 minutes in an \emergency"room only not to be seen by a doctor is completely unacceptable. If you are too busy to handle all the patients or have insufficient amount of doctors rather send patients to another hospital. We only felt like a number ready to be served and you tried to put as many people through without thinking they might be in pain."""
