Emergency Care (NOT!) at Netcare Mulbarton Clinic

My wife fell on Sunday at a shopping centre and twisted her ankle very badly. I took her to Mulbarton Clinic emergency - what a shambles! She waited for 90 minutes before they triage rated her (yellow) - it took another 3 and a half hours before she was seen by a doctor and X-Rays were done. There was no control or visible process in the Emergency waiting area, some people (who appeared fairly healthy), were seen fairly quickly while others (like my wife were made to wait for ages). While my wife was in the X-Ray area she needed the toilet, the nurse apologised because the toilet door was broken (affording no privacy). The nurse stood "guard" while my wife used the toilet. The attending doctor was a foreigner who my wife could barely understand. To cap it all she was told that there was no report available for the X-Rays and she was to return the next day for the report and to see a doctor. Needless to say she never went back. I honestly think she would have received better service from a state hospital. Netcare should be ashamed and embarrassed.
