Dr K Singh’s greed is a disgrace to Linmed

My mother was referred to the on call physician at Netcare Linmed - Dr K Singh. She refused to treat my mother for the absurd reason that she is a private patient! This is despite my mother having been admitted to the Linmed as Dr Joubert’s patient last week. This is gross abuse of human rights by denying my mother treatment based on the payment method. If anything, full payment upfront is less of a risk than medical aid. Dr Singh should be removed as an on call physician if she wishes to dictate how patients should pay. This is unfair ************** against my mother and in defiance of her human rights in terms of the constitution. Why does Linmed allow the greed and obnoxious arrogance of this so called professional to prevail? She is abusing her position and more concerned with preservation of her bank account than preservation of life. My mother’s temperature is escalating for no explicable reason and needs urgent investigation.
