Dr Johnson at Netcare Montana - BEWARE!!!!!

This is for a Dr. Johnson and Netcare Montana....

My partner was at Netcare Montana with all the symptoms of a stroke, complete paralysis of her left side, a monstrous migrane, loss of her faculties and completely unresponsiveness.

MRI came back clear and no doctor in casualty knew what was wrong. One Plan refused to admit her as her MRI was clear and so after some research by me that night I read about a Hemiplegic Migrane, all the symptoms and similarities of a stroke and also the possibility of no muscular recovery and a coma, just no brain damage.

Once I informed the casualty doctor of this they managed to get her admitted based on a Hemiplegic Migraine.

A Doctor Johnson was assigned to her and I must say that she is the most useless, uncaring and unhelpful doctor I have ever come across!!!

She treated it as a normal migrane and the symptoms as a sudo stroke. My partner, seriously worried, asked her what happens if it happens in her car while she's driving. She did not want to engage at all and merely said that this is all in her head and it won't happen.

I then said to her that if it happened in her room, why can't it happen in her car.

She again mentioned that it was all in her head.

I then responded by asking if it can only happen in a bedroom and not in a car so it knows automatically where it can and can't happen by itself???

She had no response to that.

We couldn't even get an answer as to how to prevent this in future or what to do if it starts or happens again!!

EVEN MORE SERIOUSLY!!!!!

She prescribed some medication for 'stress' being LEXAMIL, which I then researched and started questioning this to myself meanwhile my partner is already on ZYTOMIL and she didn't even bother checking her file and would have caused an OVERDOSE ON ANTI DEPRESSANTS!!! It was only after I told the nurse to get hold of the doctor again to question this when the 'doctor' merely said 'oh well, then she can just return it'.

THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN INCREDIBLY SERIOUS AND SHE WORKS AT NETCARE, A RELIABLE FACILITY.

DR Johnson then dismissed her from hospital and my partner couldn't even get to the door of the ward before she needed a wheelchair. She still can't move her arm but has regained some finger movement.

How could someone hold a position of such power and authority, and most importantly trust and someone's life in their hands, and yet not have a care in the world for the actual genuine wellbeing of the patient!?!?!?!?!?????

Netcare casualty staff at Montana were absolutely phenomenal and I cannot give them enough praise.

However, this Doctor Johnson at Montana Hospital, BEWARE is all I can say!!!!!!
