I have no words to describe the treatment I received from Dr Johnson at Kuilsriver Netcare ER this morning and also the lady who deals with admissions but couldn't take her name as she had no tag.

My medical savings are depleted and was refused treatment without the Dr checking whether I could pay for the treatment. I guess he just saw a poor "black" woman. He spoke to me in a condescending tone as if he was superior and left me in tears. I couldn't even explain to him that I was willing to pay for him, hospital, blood tests and x-rays.

I was woken up by my kids with my mouth full of foam and shaking with body sweats. When I got to hospital my sugar levels were below 2.3.

I wouldn't have gone to hospital by ambulance if I was not feeling sick.

The level of ****** in our Cape Town hospital is sickening.
