Default on ITC with No Notification for payment

A credit check has been done on me only to find out that i have a default for not paying my bill. Netcare submitted my name to ITC for a bill of R 1050.00. Both my kids were born at Sunninghill hospital, i have had huge bills with the specialists and hospital but i have never defaulted on my bills. What i can't understand is that i didnt receive an invoice via any channel to pay this bill. I was totally not aware of this as i have medical aid and assume that they will pay this. Furthermore, i believe that this bill should have been paid by the medical aid but thats another story. Now i have a problem trying to contact netcare collections department that has continous voice mail. Which makes it impossible for me to sort this issue out. I can't get even get credit to buy a R200 phone. I don't think its fair what netcare has done, just for R1050.00. We have been loyal clients to the hospital for so many years. We now have to consider changing and moving to LIFE group. <br> <br> Please help with this matter. Thanks
