Circus or Hospital?
I was admitted to St Augustine's on the 8 October 2015, to have my wisdom tooth removed. I did my pre-admission over the phone and was informed of a co-payment that I would have to make. I agreed to this. On the day of admission, when I asked the consultant admitting me about it, she said that there was no co-payment to be made, so I thought that it was covered by my medical aid and showed up with the authorisation code. During my stay at the hospital, there were a few incidents, which I recorded on the evaluation form and submitted to the hospital. These were all addressed, by the relevant people in charge.

I thought my issues were over and done with, until I received a call from Mary Ann on the 17 November saying that I owed them money. I tried explaining where I was coming from and she was rude and abrupt, so I sent an email to staff members. These were the people that my initial complaints were forwarded to by Dr Augusta Dorning. To date, I have not received a response from any of the 9 people on the list.

On the 12 December, I received an email from Mary Ann, with a detailed statement, which she said I requested. This is incorrect. Management is appalling at this hospital.
