Breach of medical confidentiality

My personal account statement, was sent to my employer instead of sent to me. This is highly ********* and a breach of medical confidentiality.

I called the company and was told it will be followed up, unfortunately I have not yet received any communication.

How can a medical company release your personal information to your work.
