Bad service

On the 20/09/2021@ 3:43pm I brought my brother Jeremy chetty to the trauma unit as he was involved in a accident. The doctor checked him and sent him to get a Xray which was done. Upon seeing the doctor again after Xray my brother was advised that he as to go in for surgery.

The doctor at trauma made contact with doctor Seedat, Zaid and he advised doctor at trauma to give us a appointment letter to come on 22/09/2021 @2pm.

On arrival we was told by the receptionist that there was no appointment made. I then went on by calling the PRO to explain her the issue and what should I do. The PRO then approached me to find out I then explained her the issue on hand. I was told to wait while she find out what happened.

The feedback I got from the PRO 10 minutes later, she was advised that we should wait about 1-2 hours before doctor sees us we then agreed and also told the PRO to also see if she can get another doctor in the time we waiting coz my brother is in alot of pain. She agreed on that.

As we waited it was past the 2 hour mark and she already left for the day. I then asked to speak to the next person in charge of the hospital I was then referred to SISTER REDDY. When reddy came to me I explained the issue she took the documents and 2 minutes after the doctor rooms call to say we should come.

When we get there my brother who was in so much pain was told to wait for doctor which he did. At 5:10 1hrs later the doctor called my brother to the room only to say to him that he can't treat him because we complain to the PRO and he should go get another doctor to treat him. As he was in so much of pain to hear that from the doctor we then went on by calling sister reddy and told her what as happen she said to us that was wrong for doctor to do that and I told her I'm taking it up she said ok. To me the doctor acted ******** and needs to be reported to the medical bord.

This is the right of a patient no matter what was the problem actually the problem was the doctor by giving wrong info and date. To ensure that patients are not subjected to cruel, inhuman or degrading punishment or treatment and to report instances where such occur, When a hospital, doctor, or other health care provider refuses to treat a patient because of a religious objection to either the patient or the medical procedure requested, and the patient is injured or dies from not receiving the requested treatment, the medical providers may be liable for medical malpractice

I had to move my brother to another hospital due to the fact that this doctor acted ********ly. I have all documents required.
