Bad service at casualty dept of Greenacres Hospital
I took my wife to Greenacres Hospital casualty dept on Sunday 17 Sept 2017. She had a fever of 40 degrees, was weak and very pale. I was worried that she could have Malaria because we had traveled to the north of the country last week. The sister on duty immediately said it can not be malaria, she would have known if there was an outbreak of this disease. Hello is she a doctor? NO.
When she assessed my wife I was uttered out of the room? Why? No doctor has ever done this.
I know that the Casualty Dept was full of patients but my wife had to sit on a steel chair for two hours and still received no attention.
I then took her away from the hospital to a doctor at the PEGP group in Cape Road. Here we received wonderful service from reception and the doctor on duty. The doctor immediately referred my wife to St Georges Hospital where she was admitted on arrival and tests are at this stage still being preformed on her. This is service!!!
Why could Greenacres not have done this.
I am shocked and horrified at the treatment my wife and I received especially form the sister on duty.
Shame on you.
