Bad service

Good Day

I was admitted at Netcare Pretoria East Hospital on the 21st and went for an operation on the 22nd of July. I was in ward 9 room 3C

I was at theatre around 08:30 cos I was booked for 09:00.

I woke up after 16:00 but passed out again due to anesthesia (SP). I finally woke up around 17:30 I tried to eat but couldn’t cos I was so nauseous and dizzy as well…I wanted to take a bath but couldn’t make it to the bathroom cos I was dizzy and I was told that I mustn’t get off my bed. I told sister Vero that I wanted to take a bath cos I had blood stains and my ****** was bleeding as well…and that was around 18:30 she told me to wait for 19:00 staff to come so that they can assist me. I asked her what difference will it make? And why must the 19:00 staff be the ones to clean me, she said she’s gonna come back and assist. 18:45 she came back and told me that I had a pad that was full of blood and she removed it (I’ve been wet since I got out of the theatre) cos I was throwing up and I somehow felt like I was peeing on my bed while I was vomiting (that was the time they were trying to wake me from the theatre)…but that bed pad was still there with blood (why did she leave it if she removed my pad???) I asked her for ice as well, she did not give me. She even knocked off! So clearly she doesn’t knock off at 19:00 that means her shift ends at 18:30. I was so weak the worst could have happened to me cos someone chose not to do what they getting paid to do

Kindly give her another training or something cos wow, her service was TRASH!

The night shift staff did all those things, they we so kind and treated me like a patient. I’m also happy with sister Lebogang’s service, she’s such an amazing sister!
