BABY AND MOM LEFT TO FREEZE

I was admitted at Parklane on 9 April 2022, I subsequently gave birth on the same night and immediately requested and paid for a private ward- at 3000 per night cash, worst decision of my life! This was the weekend of the extreme cold front and this ward was the biggest joke compared to ward 3 where I was initially, I should have stayed. My new born baby and I were left in a freezing cold room with not aircon, I complain about this and the nurses kept pressing the aircon and telling me it will get better, needless to say - it never did. Each time a nurse would come in they’s say how cold the room was but no one bothered to move us, even at request, I was simply told they all feel the same. Having undergone a cesection and with a newborn who could fall extremely ill from the cold the lack of care astonished me. My child and I have been in the cold for 2 nights and only the sisters for the morning shift called maintenance, as i type the room is freezing he has left it saying it should get warmer which it hasnt for 20min just blowing freezing cold air. I was not moved out for this process and right now I am sitting with a 3 day old in a room with a cold aircon when basically its 9 degrees cold and raining outside the entire country! I
