Appointments not honoured by Maternity Ward contractors - stood up two times in a row!

Dear Netcare,

I am due to deliver my baby at the end of September and had originally chosen to do so at Olivedale clinic. I had an appointment to have my 4D scan, which is included in the booking fee, done on Friday at 9:30 with Lorraine. I and my husband took the morning off from work and we kept our son out of school to be able to go to the scan together. I had a late breakfast and some caffeine to amke sure that baby would move during the scan. But Lorraine didn't show up. Eventually, the Maternity Unit staff managed to get hold of her on the phone, and she reported car issues. My husband returned to work and I waited in front of the Maternity Ward. Eventually, Lorraine made an appearance at 11:00, by which time the baby had curled up and gone back to sleep. Lorraine told me that I should come back Wednesday at 9:00 and she would try to do the scan again to ensure that we get a better experience. I arrived at Netcare Olivedale at 8:45 this morning and was told to wait. Eventually, at 9:00, I saw the Maternity Ward staff who tried to get hold of Lorraine telephonically, left a voice message, but Lorraine did not answer her phone. I left the Ward at 9:10 - again without my 4D scan. This is the second time I have had to take a morning off from work, have had to drive to Netcare Olivedale hospital, bought a coffee at the hospital cafeteria, and was stood up by your 4D ultrasound technician. This is totally unacceptable and I wonder if it is a general reflection of the reliability of this hospital. Please let me know how you will be reimbursing me for my expenses and time wasted as well as for my booking fee, and I will choose a different institution at which to deliver my baby.

Very unhappy!
