Alberton Netcare

Absolutely disgusted with the Netcare Alberton’s staff of section 1. All except Mpho. They leave old people (almost 90 yrs of age) to do all on their own. They don’t make them comfortable nor bother to at least adjust the table do that they can eat properly. Totally left on their own, bluntly disregarding doctor’s instructions regarding physical treatments. All leave it for the following shift’s staff. Disgusting. They don’t even check if the elderly person is covered with a blanket properly before bedtime or if they are comfortable. This continued for 3 days while I was the lady’s neighbour in the ward. I had to help her with everything.

Then getting to the Netcare pharmacy after being discharged, one does not get a proper script to go to any pharmacy of your choice. There is a section that says ‘pre-arranged medication, where a released patient should just be able to pick up the pre-arranged medication. But in stead the patients are sent to the back of the long queue. So why it is called pre-arranged script, no one knows. Despite the queue standing out the door, NETCARE PHARMACY only has two people at the 5 possible working stations.

Netcare is beautiful on the surface, but rotten on the inside!!
