Air conditioner malfunction in Executive suite - M

Hi,

I'm writing this with a huge disappointment, as I didn't expect such an unprofessional behaviour from a highly reputed hospital.

I have admitted my wife (Rubha Krishnan Natarajan) in the Executive suite of the maternity ward @ Sunninghill Netcare hospital. Only after making payment and walking into the suite, I learnt (myself) that the Air Conditioner was problematic. Upon inquiry, the nurse on duty informed that it has been problematic for quite a while and asked me to adjust. And after an argument we were provided with a fan.

Please can someone answer the following questions?

1) Why was I not informed about the Air Conditioner problem beforehand (at least when I made the payment)?

2) Why must I adjust when I had paid already?

3) If the problem is known to the hospital staff already, why was it not rectified?

4) Will the hospital agree if I avail the service and make a partial payment?

This issue might sound silly for some people. But, it is my right. When I'm paying for something, I must receive that properly. I hope this issue gets the right attention and is sorted in time, so the patients do not suffer in future.
