Accounts departmet

I have been hospitalised many times at the Wits Donald Gordon this year and in May i had Major surgery and then i get a bill from the hospital to say that the medical aid has not paid for Chronic meds in hospital which was weird because i brought ALL my meds because i knew i was going to be in hospital for a while. My mother and sister personally handed ALL my meds to the ICU nursing staff when i arrived in ICU so they had all my meds. <br> <br> When i challenged the accounts department they said they would do an investigation just for them to come back to me today say that it was charged at the pharmacy, like DUUUHHH. I'm not arguing the fact it was charged I'm arguing that I'm getting charged for medicine that i brought to the hospital which was handed to the nurses and why did they order more of my chronic meds when i had more than enough.<br> <br> What kind of an investigation did they do??? I will not pay for those meds because of the *********** nursing staff in ICU. Find out who ordered the meds in the first place and take it up with that nurse.<br> <br> Ive had good experience with the Wits Donald Gordon hospital but this has really made me question the hospital.
