Accounts department not doing their job

Was admitted to casualty Nov last year. Received no account and assumed MA paid. Suddenly started receiving phone calls from laywers last month. I asked for a statement. No reply from Linmed accounts. No communication except after my account was handed to a laywer.

I made a payment last week and again received a laywers email this morning.

Accounts dept should get their act together, send out statements immediately and communicate with patients.

If I knew about this account it would have been paid in December already.
